Travis Wayne Alexander, 57, from Cave Spring, Ga., formerly of Attalla, passed away on June 23, 2014.Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel. Pastor Mark Smith will officiate. Interment to follow at Gallant Cemetery in Gallant. Morgan Funeral Chapel & Crematory directing.Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his parents, Lenard and Annie Sue Alexander; younger brother, Walter Norman Alexander; and one niece, Anna Jolene.Survivors; companion of many years, Colleen Alexander Knight, Cave Spring, Ga.; son, Matthew (Brittany) Alexander; granddaughters, Jacqueline Alexander, Serenity Alexander; brother, James (Tammy) Alexander, Bremen, Ga.; and sister, Susan (Jeff) Hendrix, Douglasville, Ga.Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Special thanks to United Hospice of Rome, Ga. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.The family will receive friends for visitation from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
