ANDERSON, Tracy Alan, 46 years young. Born August 3, 1958. Delivered to the Eagle on October 1, 2004. Longtime resident of the Riverview/ Seffner area, passed away on October 1, 2004 after a long battle with illness. Tracy will be remembered as a man that overcame all odds to make it in a world ill-equipped for those with disabilities. There was never a mountain that Tracy couldn't climb, though there were mountains on every side of him. Born with spina bifida, an illness ultimately left Tracy partially paralyzed, but with the use of crutches and braces, he was able to learn Taekwondo and earned a black belt. He was a member of the Seffner Civic Association and the Taylor Road Association. He served for seven years as a security guard at Evans Park, a job he dearly loved. He was predeceased by his mother, Gloria Anderson; and his beloved father, L.K. "Andy" Anderson. He is survived by his brother, Kenneth Brannen; sisters, Kathy Brannen, Deborah Anderson Bearry and her husband, John (Mickey) Bearry; nieces, Kelley and Melissa Duvall. He leaves many devoted friends, especially, Patrica "Trish" Williams. Cremation will be followed by a memorial Cherokee Indian Service at his beloved Evans Park, 1104 N. Kingsway Road on October 6, 2004 at 6 p.m. A special heartfelt thanks to Dr. William Luria and staff; Dr. Albert Tawil and staff; Bill's Prescription; Brandon Brace & Limb; the staff of St. Joseph's and Memorial Hospitals. To all not mentioned above, thank you for loving and caring for our dear brother. In lieu of flowers, you may send a donation in Tracy's name to WEDU, 1300 North Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33607, phone (813) 651-0820.
