TOMS RIVER - Anthony Joseph Arzt Jr., 53, of Toms River, passed away January 17, 2014, at his home.Born in Trenton, Joey was raised in Hamilton and was a 1978 graduate of Hamilton High School East (Steinert). He moved from Hamilton to Toms River in 2006. He was recently employed by the Lester Glenn Auto Group of Toms River.Joey was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and New York Yankees fan. He loved taking his car to antique auto shows, the beach, lighthouses and spending time on the water, boating and fishing. Joey enjoyed music, especially Jim Morrison and Led Zeppelin.Predeceased by his parents Anna and Anthony J. Arzt Sr., Joey is survived by his sister, Joanne Zegarski and her husband, Mark; his niece, Jena Salzano and her husband, Michael; many cousins and dear friends.A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, at Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square.
