Tom Brown GREER, SC-- Thomas Roland Brown, 68, of 109 Beth Street, died Saturday, October 6, 2012. A native of Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Vernon W. and Tommie Armstrong Brown, a retired employee of Bell South after forty-six years of service. Surviving are his wife, Jane D. Brown of the home; four sons, Tommy Brown of Greer, Morgan Wayne Parnell of Houston, TX, Bryan Lamont Parnell of Lake City, FL, and Kenny Parnell of Humble, TX; a brother, Allen Brown of Spartanburg; a sister, Carol Faulkner of Spartanburg; and four grandchildren, Gage Hammett-Brown, Kenny Parnell, Kadence Parnell, and David Parnell. He was predeceased by two sisters, Sheri Brown and Sandra Phillips. A memorial service will be held 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held 3:30 until 4:45 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary. The family is at home of the brother-in-law, Jay Deiwert, 213 Shadecrest Dr., Maudlin, SC 29662.
