Tom Braun, 92, Venice, died April 9, 2004. He was born Oct. 17, 1911, in Cincinnati and came to Venice from there in 1945. He worked in sales in the travel industry and was a Marine veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Wilderness Club, Sierra Club and Epiphany Cathedral. Survivors include a sister, Ann Schott of Nevada; a brother, Bill Braun of Pass Christian, Miss.; and a niece, Kathy Hudgins of Orange Park. Wiegand Brothers Funeral Home, Sarasota, is in charge.
