Tina Marie Jackson, 52, of Rutland, and formerly of Ticonderoga, N.Y., died June 5, 2010, at her residence, with cancer.Born in Ticonderoga Jan. 10, 1958, she was the daughter of Clayton L. "Skip" and Virginia May (Donaldson) Thompson.She was employed by General Electric in Rutland for many years.Mrs. Jackson was a member of American Legion Post 224 of Ticonderoga and the Moose Lodge of Rutland.She enjoyed hunting, fishing and the casino in Saratoga.Survivors include two sons, Jeremy and John Jackson, both of Rutland; two brothers, Clayton Jr. of Florida and Michael Thompson of Rutland; three sisters, Marsha Thompson, Virginia Stevens, both of Rutland, and Elizabeth Thompson of Ticonderoga; an aunt, many nieces and nephews; and her husband, Ray Jackson.She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Timothy and James "Junkyard" Thompson.The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, at the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, 11 Algonkin St., Ticonderoga, where friends may call from 10 a.m. prior to the service officiated by the Rev.
