Tina M. Davis Utica Tina M. Davis, age 45, of Utica, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2010, at the Siegenthaler Center. Born in West Palm Beach, Florida, Tina was the daughter of the late Frank and Carolyn (Preston) Davis. She was blessed with the love and guidance of her grandmother, the late Frances Holman. She was raised and educated in Utica. At one time, Tina held a position with the St. Elizabeth Medical Center as a switchboard operator. She was also a certified phlebotomist. She was a proud mother, and her boys meant the world to her; she was extremely enamored by their accomplishments. With her hearty sense of humor and lilt in her voice, she had a way with telling stories. She took an interest in the field of botany and adored plant life and flora of all kinds. She worshipped at the House of God. Tina is survived by her sons, Raymond L. Jackson, III, and Wesley A. Jackson, both of Utica. Survivors also include her sister, Melody Davis of Utica; her brothers, James Lennard of FL and Kenneth Preston of Rochester. She also shared in a loving relationship with Franklin Davis and was blessed with a beloved and dear friend, Sandra Linen. She also leaves her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and in-laws. The family expresses sincere appreciation to the entire staff of the Siegenthaler Center of Hospice & Palliative Care for the care and compassion they rendered to Tina. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00-7:00 at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc., 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. Tinas Home Going service and Celebration of Life will commence Friday evening at 7:00 at the funeral home immediately upon conclusion of visitation with Pastor Katherine Jones Voorhees and Minister James Jackson officiating.
