Timothy James (Tim) White, 35, 137 Cole Manor Drive passed away on Friday June 20, 2003.A native of Camden, N.J., Tim was the son of John M. and Florence Schofield White Sr. He loved music and enjoyed traveling. He was best known in Athens for his work as a disc jockey and had volunteered his time for the last three years as the 'DJ' for the annual Boybutante Ball.Survivors other than his parents are sisters Robin White, Monroe; Janet M. Payton, Lawrenceville and Kathleen Shelton, Panama City Beach, FL; brothers, John M. White Jr., White Plains and Ronald J. White, Lilburn, partner Benji Dove, Athens and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 3PM Monday at the chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Peek officiating. The family will receive friends at Bernstein from 1-3PM Monday.
