Timothy A. McGee June 20, 1962 - January 9, 2012 Canterbury - Timothy A. McGee, 49, of South Canterbury Rd. died unexpectedly Monday morning at his home. He was born June 20, 1962 in Norwich the beloved son of Richard T. and Lucille (Bjorkman) McGee and had been a lifelong resident of Canterbury. Mr. McGee had been employed at Electric Boat for 15 years as a machinist and for the past 13 years, the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, canoeing, kayaking and scuba diving. Besides his parents he leaves his sister Lucinda McGee of Ashaway, RI. A nephew Connor, an Aunt Carolyn Perry of Windsor, ME; two cousins Jennifer and David Perry of ME. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at Dougherty Bros. Funeral Home 595 Norwich Rd. Plainfield. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Central Village. Visiting hours are Thursday 9:30 -10:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the CT.
