Thomas M. 'Tom' Hartfordof Pelham; 59 PELHAM, NH -- Thomas M. "Tom" Hartford, 59, of Pelham, died Monday, August 25th, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, following a brief illness.He was the beloved husband of C. Janet (Carey) Hartford with whom he recently celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on July 1st of this year.Born in Stoneham, Massachusetts, January 27, 1955, the son of the late Iven and the late Barbara (Dormail) Hartford, he attended Stoneham schools and was a graduate of Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in Billerica in the Class of 1974.Most recently, Tom was employed as a Mechanical Design Engineer with Brooks Automation in Chelmsford for over 18 years.Among his many interests, he was an avid New England sports fan, especially of the N.E. Patriots. He also enjoyed classic rock music, in particular, Pink Floyd. Known to be very innovative, Tom had an uncanny ability to create, invent or improve upon simple things to make life easier for many.In addition to his wife, Janet, Tom is survived by a daughter, Lianna H. Jackter and her husband, Robbie of Colchester, CT; a son, Andrew T. Hartford and his fiancée, Amanda Prince of Goffstown, NH; four sisters, Miriam, Patricia, JoAnn, and Joyce; four brothers, John, Paul, Mark and Matthew; and many nieces and nephews.He was also brother of the late Jean, David and Philip.HARTFORD -- In Boston, August 25, 2014, at Tufts Medical Center, Thomas M.
