Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. EST, Saturday, November 1, 2014 at First Assembly of God, Phenix City, AL with Pastor Barry Danner, officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Visitation is today from 1 - 8 p.m. EST according to Taylor Funeral Home, Inc. Mr. Johnson was born July 30, 1956 in Belzoni, MS to the late Joe Johnson and the late Annie Baker Johnson. He was self employed. His survivors include his wife, Lisa Johnson of Columbus, GA; one son, Curtis (Tina) Walton of Gary, IN; four daughters, La'Sandra (Ahmed) Johnson-Abdula and Alisha Butts both of Columbus, GA; Alisha Bradford (Scott) Rigby and Candace Pass both of Columbus, OH; six siblings, Charlene (Jimmy) Penn of San Antonio, TX; Jodie Johnson of Iowa; Walter Johnson of Salado, CA; Willie (Robin) Johnson of San Jose, CA; JoAnn Shelton and Brenda (James) Cooper both of Chicago, IL; 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.
