April 24, 2004 Thomas L. Morrissey III, 73, of Fairmount, died Saturday at home. Born in Syracuse, he lived in Fairmount for 45 years. He was engineering manager of Rollway Bearing Div., retiring after 35 years. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean Conflictand communicant of St. Patrick's Church. Surviving are: his wife of 51 years, the former Joanne Leahey; daughter Mary K. (John) Murphy of Fairmount; sons, Michael T. (Janet) Morrissey of Geneseo, Shawn P. (Maria) Morrissey of California, and Daniel L. (Pam) Morrissey of Camillus; grandchildren, Kathryn, Michaela and Matthew Murphy, Chris and Kyle Morrissey, and Connor and Carolyn Morrissey. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Church where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Contributions may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 216 North Lowell Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13204.
