Thomas Hugh Williams, 79, Springfield, passed away Monday, August 1, 2005. The son of Jerry and Rebecca Williams, he was born June 9, 1926. Tom retired from Paul Mueller. He was a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge and a past Master, and a former Shriner. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Ruth Wiliams, and their three children: Mike Williams and his wife, Vickie Jerry Thomas Williams and his wife, Martha and Marchalain Mullins and her husband, Anthony. He is also survived by two brothers and their wives a sister and her husband five grandchildren three greatgrandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Tom was a loving husband and father and devoted friend, and will be missed by all who loved him. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 5, in Brookline Cemetery with Pastor Mike Green officiating. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight in Walnut Lawn DeGraffenreid-Wood Funeral Home, 2001 W. Walnut Lawn Street. Masonic services are at 6 p.m.
