CARTER Thomas Glenn "T.G." Carter, Jr., age 67, passed away February 27, 2008. T.G. was born November 27, 1940 in Waycross, GA to Esther and Thomas Glenn Carter, Sr. He served in the US Air Force. T.G. was the owner of All American Recovery, Inc. for 19 years. He retired from the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office after 20 years of service. T.G. was a co-founder for the National Association of Retired Cops "NARC", he was a member of the FOP, NARC, served on the board of directors of RSIG and he was a member of the Albert J. Russell Masonic Lodge. T.G. is survived by his wife of 45 years, Jodi Carter; son, Thomas Glenn Carter, III "Tommy" (Susan); daughter, Lynne Carter Swords (Aidan J.); grandchildren, Landis, Ashley, Jared and Catherine; sister, Betty Davies Brayden of Key West; brother-in-law: Carl Davies; two nephews, John and Jason; grand nephew Shaun; and two special children, Rambo and Dixie. The family will be receiving friends at the Hardage Giddens Funeral Home, Edgewood Chapel, Friday, February 29 from 6-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the Shindler Drive Baptist Church. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to "COPS" Concerns of Police Survivors, 5530 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207.
