Graveside services for Thomas Edward "Tommy" Newton III will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009, at the Lee Family Cemetery. The Rev. Norman Flynn will officiate. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel is in charge.Tommy was a very loving son, father and grandfather. His grandchildren were the joy of his life.Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Edward Newton Jr.; and his grandparents, Tom Newton and Myra Lee Newton.He is survived by his children, Thomas Edward Newton IV and Tammy Leigh Millikin; grandchildren, Ryan, Emily and Lauren; mother, Betty Medlin Newton; sister, Vicky (Ed) Godfrey; nieces and nephews, Willie Gidley, David Scott, Rebecca Bagley, Ginna Lengyel and Livvy Gilbert; special friends, Tommy and Marion Clontz; and numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lee Family Cemetery.
