-> Thomas Carter, 80, died Saturday, April 17, 2004 at Tara of Thunderbolt Rehabilitation Center. He was a native of Savannah, GA and lived in New York for the past 60 years until moving back to home where he was a taxi driver for 35 years and worked for the New York School System. Survivors are: two sisters, Mrs. Ada Carter Glaspy of Thunderbolt, GA and Mrs. Dorothy Carter Flannel of Savannah, GA; three brothers, Samuel Carter, Jr. (Sandra) of Savannah, GA, James E. Carter (Annie) of North Carolina and John Carter (Sandra) of Savannah, GA; a devoted niece and caregiver, Sandra Carter; childhood friend, John Henry Wright of Savannah, GA; special friend, Hattie Ware of New York; a host of nieces and cousins and other relatives.
