COLEMAN, DR. THOMAS C., III, 84, of Monticello, AR, passed away Thursday, November 25, 2004, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born August 25, 1920, in Louisville. He was a retired professor of language and literature division at University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM). He received his bachelor's degree at Trasylvanina, in Lexington, KY, his master's degree at the University of Louisville and his PhD at Southern California. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Monticello. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Hobson Coleman, on August 17, 2002, and his parents, Thomas C. Coleman Jr. and Edith Edmonds Coleman. He is survived by a sister, Cornelia C. Wright of Louisville; eight nieces; three nephews; special friends, Bobby and Mytle Farley; cousins; and caregivers. Arrangements by Stephenson-Darman Funeral Home.
