CARTER, Thomas Alfred A resident of Wallaceburg and former resident of Mitchell's Bay. Peacefully at the Lapointe-Fisher Nursing Home on Friday, December 17, 1999 in his 84th year. Tom was born in Gaspe, Quebec and was a Conservation Officer with M.N.R. from 1950-1980 stationed in Merlin, Mitchell's Bay and Wallaceburg. Beloved husband of Winnifred (Deyer) Carter. Loving father of James and his wife Sue Carter of Windsor, Mary Carter of Wallaceburg and Anne and her husband Kirby MacDonald of Simcoe. Dear grandfather of Michael and Kathy Carter and Dana, Reed and Scott MacDonald. Brother of Wilfred, Bernard, Allison and Betty and the late Joe and Murray. Stepson of Elsie Carter and son of the late Kingsley James and Carrie Jane (Beck) Carter. A service of Remembrance will take place at the Rotary Hall, 507 Elizabeth St. (at Creek St.) in Wallaceburg on Sunday, December 19 at 2 o'clock. The family will receive relatives and friends in the hour prior to the service. A time of fellowship and refreshment will follow.
