LABRIE, Thérèse (née Morin) - It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing away of Thérèse Labrie (age 86) Sunday, September 30, 2007 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Elliot Lake. Beloved wife of the late Wilfrid Labrie. Loving mother of Clemence (deceased), Ernest (deceased), Noëlla (deceased), Claude (Béatrice- deceased) (Rachel) of Spragge, Claudette (Donald) of Moncton, Nicole (René-deceased) of Sturgeon Falls, Alain of Sudbury & Gaston (deceased). Cherished grandmother of Manon (Joe), Robin (Vicki), Sonny (Melynda), Hélène (Brent), Kevin (Andrea), D.J. (Ashley), Louisella (Jim), Karen (deceased) and Junior. Step-grandmother of Diane, Johanne, Pauline (Chad) & Guy (Loralee). Great grandmother of Jenna Lee, Jessica, Maverick, Dakota, Cory, Sydney, Jake & Trinity. Step-great-grandmother of Stéphane, Nicholas, Rachel, Sophie, Michael, Natalie & Samuel. Thérèse is predeceased by her brother Gérard and is survived by 2 brothers, Charles & Roméo. Following her wishes, Thérèse is to be cremated and the liturgy will be held at the Blind River Hillside Cemetery on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. Loving mother of Claude Labrie (late Béatrice) (Rachel) of Spragg, Claudette Desforges (Donald) of Moncton, New-Brunswick, Nicole Morin (late René Hogan) of Sturgeon Falls and Alain Labrie of Sudbury. Predeceased by her children, Clémence, Ernest, Noëlla and Gaston. Dear sister of Roméo Morin of Notre-Dame-du-lac and Charles Morin (late Rita) of Montréal. Predeceased by her brother Gérard Morin (late Dolores). Lovingly remembered by her 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren . Predeceased by her granddaughter Karen. Sadly missed by her canine friends, Pitou, Bella and Sophie. In keeping with Mrs. Labrie's request there will be no visitation.
