MANCHESTER &#150; Therese C. (Renee) Pelchat, 81, died Aug. 31, 2011, at Catholic Medical Center, Manchester. She was born in Manchester, Feb. 2, 1930, daughter of the late Eugene and Rose (Cartier) Renee. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester. She was employed at Manchester Hosiery and upon retirement worked for The Felton Brush Co. She enjoyed traveling and spending winters in Florida. She also enjoyed reading and her exercise program with her friends at the Parish Nurse Program. She was a former member of the Pinardville Firefighters Women's Auxiliary. She also served as a volunteer at Catholic Medical Center for four years. Family members include her two sons, Henry Pelchat and his wife, Elaine, of Manchester, and Felix Pelchat and his wife, Doris, of Goffstown; three daughters, Claudette Morency and her husband, Richard, of Hillsborough; Muriel Georgantas and her husband, Richard, of Goffstown; and Rita Ouellette and her husband, Phillip, of Manchester; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister Denise Paquette of Manchester; nieces and nephews. She also leaves her longtime companion, Marcel Guillemette. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Pelchat, 1977, and by her sister, Irene Renee, who died in 1994. She was also predeceased by her father, who died in 1969, and by her mother, who died in 1998. . SERVICES: Calling hours are Tuesday, Sept. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. in Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St., corner of Union Street, Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 10 a.m. in The Parish of the Transfiguration Church, 107 Alsace St., Manchester.
