->Carlson, Theresa Mary MahoskyTheresa Mary Mahosky Carlson 83 passed away on January 13, 2013, at the Green Home in Wellsboro, PA. She was born on October 22, 1929 to Frank and Mary Mahosky. Theresa graduated from Morris Run, PA High School, Arnot Ogden School of Nursing in Elmira, NY and Mansfield University, Mansfield PA. She was the Director of Nursing at the Blossburg Hospital. After the hospital closed in 1972, she returned to college to obtain her bachelor degree and was hired as the Mansfield High School nurse. Theresa was a member and held offices in the following organizations, St. Mary's Alter and Rosary Society, the Good Samaritans, Veterans of Foreign Wars Supreme Sacrifice Post# 8730 and the Business and Professional Women. She was very active member of St Joseph's Catholic Church in Morris Run and later at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Blossburg, PA. Theresa is survived by her six children, Mary Ann Wallinger (George) Boise, ID, Jerry Carlson (Susan), Raleigh, NC, Susan Bolt (Roger) Mainesburg, PA, Beth Pequignot (Randy) Liberty, PA, Gilbert Carlson (Barbara) Lorton, VA, Michael Carlson (Theresa), Horseheads, NY; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and four siblings, Joseph Mahosky, Leonard Mahosky, Martin Mahosky and Margaret (Marge) Morgan. She was preceded in death by her husband Ervin "Bub" Carlson and grandson Jeffrey Cleveland. She enjoyed traveling making several trips to Europe. Her hobbies included ceramics, reading, and watching Hallmark movies. Friends will be received at Freeberg Funeral Home 120 N. Williamson Rd., Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 6 - 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday January 18 at 10 a.m. from St Mary of Czestochowa Church, Blossburg with Father Jacek Bialkowski and John J. Chmill co-celebrants. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Morris Run, PA.
