Theresa M. (Saluti) Anderson, age 91, formerly of Braintree and Quincy, died peacefully, Monday, June 10, 2013, at the Norwell Knoll Nursing Home and Rehabilitation facility, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy schools and was a graduate of Quincy High School. She had lived in Hanover for eighteen years, previously living in Braintree for over twenty years and earlier living in Quincy. Theresa was employed as head cook at the former Quincy City Hospital for twenty-five years. She had also worked at the former Franvale Nursing Home in Braintree for five years and the John Scott House Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Braintree for five years. She retired in 1994. Theresa was devoted to her family and especially to her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Everett W. Anderson; she was the devoted mother of Robert F. Anderson and his wife Marie of Needham, Everett W. Anderson, Jr. and his wife Alida of Braintree, Lorraine M. Barnicoat and her husband Charles of Hanover, Mildred J. Mulvaney and her late husband Thomas of Weymouth, Doreen E. Blake and her husband Robert of Hanover; loving grandmother of nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; dear cousin of Lorraine Jones of Naples, Fla. Funeral services were conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Ave., Quincy, Friday, June 14, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours were held at the funeral home Thursday 4-7 p.m. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy.
