Delacroix, Theresa Jackson She retired as the first woman clerk of court in Iberville Parish. A resident of Plaquemine, she died Friday, May 6, 2005, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor. She was 91 and a native of Lecompte. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, Tuesday, May 10, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, H. Mille III and Denise Delacroix, Baton Rouge; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Faye Jackson, Shreveport; and two grandchildren, Blake and Madison Delacroix. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Clark and Susan Wiley Jackson; husband, Homer M. Delacroix Jr.; sisters, Lander Landry and Hilda Jackson; and brothers, Thomas, Augustus, Abraham and Howard Jackson. Honorary pallbearers are Tom Jackson, Dr. Pete Blanchard, Curtis Jackson, Robert Jackson, Jack Jackson, Dr. James Jackson and Adrian Smith. She was a member of St. Elizabeth's chapter Church of the Holy Communion, Plaquemine. She volunteered at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Baton Rouge, was a Pink Lady at River West Hospital and volunteered at Bywater and The Holy Spirit, Kiln, Miss. Deepest thanks to Tee's dearest friend, Pat Poret and the staff of Ollie Steele Burden Manor. Special thanks to Hospice of Greater Baton Rouge.
