Thelma Mae Smith HENDERSONVILLE, TN - Thelma Mae Smith, 92, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013, in Gallatin Healthcare in Gallatin, TN. Born in Port Mercer, NJ, she was a lifelong area resident before moving to Hendersonville, TN, in 2002. Mrs. Smith was a member of the second graduating class of Trenton Central High School. She was an accounting clerk and was employed with Wheeling Corrugating in Dayton, NJ, and retired in 1982 after 13 years of service. Mrs. Smith was a former member of Christ Presbyterian Church of Hamilton and the United Presbyterian Church of Yardville. Wife of the late Wilfred G. Smith and mother of the late Peggy Joyce Smith Ritter, Mrs. Smith is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Gloria and Clifford Deaner, formerly of Yardville, NJ, but now living in Hendersonville, TN, and two granddaughters, Peggy Deaner and her spouse, Michelle Martell, of Vancouver, BC, Canada, and Dawn Norris and her husband, Richard, of Nashville, TN. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton. There will be no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square, NJ.
