LAWSON, Thelma Mae, 91, of Tampa, passed away October 11, 2007. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jesse Lawson Sr.; daughter, Betty Davis; and son, Timothy Lawson. Survivors include her daughters, Frances Salter of Tampa and Virginia Sheppard (Charles) of Tampa; sons, Jesse Lawson Jr. (Barbara) of Miami, Bobby Lawson (Cathy) of Tampa, Howard Lawson (Rena) of Georgia and Joseph Lawson of Tampa; brother, Jack Everson; grandchildren, Michele, Richie, Sheri, Annette, Tonya, Jennifer, Charlie, Howard Jr, Josh, Robbie, Tommy, and Becky; nine great-grand-children; many friends; and other relatives. A lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay area, Thelma was an active member of Broadway Baptist Church for 60 years. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Monday, October 15, at Broadway Baptist Church, 2016 N 60th St, Tampa, to be followed by interment at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
