->BAR HARBOR - Thelma M. Davis, 80, died October 23, 2014 in Bar Harbor. She was born August 11, 1934 in Dedham, the daughter of Earl B. and Viola C. (Osgood) Gilley.Thelma worked as a housekeeper at the Villager and Golden Anchor Inn, both of Bar Harbor. Later she worked at the Jackson Laboratory, retiring after 20 years. Thelma was a loving mother. She was a hard worker and enjoyed giving to others. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and knitting.Thelma is survived by three daughters, Martha and husband, Gary Buzzell of Southwest Harbor, Beverly and husband, Eric Fickett of Bar Harbor and Barbara Sullivan and her companion, Sam Michaud of Ellsworth; three brothers, Clayton Gilley and wife, Theolyn, Reginald Gilley and wife, Nancy, all of Bar Harbor and Ernest Gilley and wife, Sharon of Seal Harbor; six grandchildren; Alissa, Stephany, Kristalynn, Derrick, Michelle and Lucas and great-grandchildren, Aiden Rinaldi, Oakley Bunker and Gilbert Bartlet.She was predeceased by her first husband, Colby Sullivan in 1974 and by her second husband, Gordon Davis in 2006 and brother, Earl Gilley.Graveside memorial services will be held, 1:00 PM, Thursday , October 30, 2014 at Ledgelawn Cemetery, Bar Harbor with The Reverend Mary-Carol Griffin officiating with a reception to follow at Sonogee Rehab. & Living Center.Contributions in Thelma's memory may be made to Island Connections, 15 Eagle Lake Rd., Bar Harbor, ME 04609.Arrangements by Jordan-Fernald, 1139 Main St., Mt.
