Thelma Arnold Davis, 92, widow of Charles F. Davis, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005, at National Health Care of Greenville. Born in Greenville, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Arthur Terry and Sallie Jane Picklesimer Arnold. Mrs. Davis was the retired owner of Northgate Soda Shop and was a member of Earle Street Baptist Church. Surviving are a niece, Brenda Cumbus of Greenville; and two nephews, Edward Henderson and David C. Poole, both of Greenville. She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers. Memorials may be made to Earle Street Baptist Church, 225 W. Earle St., Greenville 29609. Graveside services will be held Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at 1:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held prior to the services from 12 to 1:10 p.m., at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The family will be at their respective homes.
