HARTLAND -- Terry Lee Davis, 62, went home to meet other members of the family Jan. 6, 2010, after a brief but brave battle with cancer.She was born in Waterville, the daughter of Carroll H. And Christine (Farris) Buker. She was educated in the schools of Albion. Terry married her husband Jim on April 17, 1975, and together they lived in Hartland for more than 30 years. Terry recently took early retirement from her job of many years at G.E. Security, formerly Edwards Systems Technology of Pittsfield, due to other health issues. She enjoyed long rides with Jim along the coast, and the upper regions of Maine. She also enjoyed camping -- it didn't matter where as long as there was water nearby -- as well as sewing, quilting, and shopping with her granddaughter, Michaela.She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Jim Davis of Hartland; three children, Vivian Davis of Hartland, Michael Brown of Hartland, and Patrick Brown of Warren; six brothers, Carroll "Bob" Buker of Milford, Conn., Charlie Buker of Milford, Johnny Buker of Champlain, N.Y., Harold Buker of Bellows Falls, Vt., Ernie Bunker of Albion; three sisters, Theresa "Teasa" Langlois of Winslow, Thelma "Thel" Buker of Chateauguay, QuŽbec, and Maxine "Macky" Potvin of St. Valentin, QuŽbec; two grandchildren, Patrick Brown Jr. of Jefferson and Michaela Brown of Hartland; several nieces, nephews and cousins.She was predeceased by her parents, Carroll H. and Christine (Farris) Buker; a brother, Chester "Chet" Buker; nephew, Carroll "Little Bud" Buker and many aunts and uncles.At Terry's request there will be no funeral or visitation hours. A graveside service will take place in the spring at the convenience of the family.Arrangements under the care and direction of Dan & Scott's Cremation and Funeral Service, 445 Waterville Road, Skowhegan.
