PIKE - Terry J. Johnson, 54, of 5664 Babbitt Road, died Friday (Aug. 17, 2012) at Rochester General Hospital following a brief illness. Born Jan. 12, 1958, in Wellsville, he was a son of Elmer D. and Grace M. Clark Johnson. On March 7, 1982, in the Hume Baptist Church, he married the former Clarissa C. Ackler, who survives.Terry had grown up in the Fillmore and Hume areas and attended the Fillmore Central School. After his schooling he joined his father in the family business, the Johnson's Barbershop, located in Warsaw. He remained there until his father's death, when he became truck driver for various firms in the area, including his daughter Rhonda's business in Fillmore, Max's Bakery.He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting, but most of all he loved being with his family.Surviving in addition to his wife, Clarissa, are two sons, Luke Erb of Arcade and James S. (Michelle) Johnson of Pike; two daughters, Rhonda N. (Frank) MacLaughlin of Fillmore and Ashley E. Johnson of Bradford, Pa.; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Paul Johnson of Holley, Albert Johnson of Lakewood and Wayne (Sue) Johnson of Oramel; and several nieces and nephews.Friends may call at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Belfast, from 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday (Aug. 22, 2012). Immediately following visitation, funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. The Rev. Robert Mackmer, pastor of the Belfast Free Methodist Church, will officiate.
