TERI ANDERSON SCHERERVILLE, IN Teri Anderson (Brown), 53, of Schererville, IN passed away on February 3, 2014 surrounded by her loving family after a heroic fight with breast cancer. Teri was born February 6, 1960 to Walter and Ollie Brown. She was preceded in death by her parents. Teri is survived by her husband, Chuck Anderson; six children: Amber Hough, Trent Spyrka, Eric Spyrka, Curtis Anderson, Claire Anderson, and Stewart Anderson; and two grandchildren: Grace and Benjamin. She is also survived by her twin sister, Sheri Cunningham (Mark); and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and in-laws. Teri worked as a staffing coordinator at St. Catherine’s Hospital. She enjoyed her flower garden, and spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite time of the year was the summer and spending time at the beach. She was a friend to everyone she met and leaves us all with many loving memories. We are all better people from having Teri in our lives and she will be greatly missed. Friends may visit the family on Friday, February 7, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Memory Lane Funeral Home, 6305 W. Lincoln Highway (US 30), Crown Point, IN 46307. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Memory Lane Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Lee officiating.
