August 30, 2007 Teresa E. Eiholzer Henderson, 88, of Sentinel Heights, died Thursday at Fahey Rehabilitation Center. Born in Postville, Iowa, to Herman and Monica Welsch Eiholzer, she was the eldest of 12 children. She graduated from Eaton High School in 1936. She was a communicant of St. James Church, Syracuse, and had been a longtime volunteer at Lafayette's Grimshaw School Library until 1996. Her husband of 66 years, Wm. Norman Henderson, predeceased her on June 23, 2006. Surviving are her two children, Norman D. Henderson of Sentinel Heights and Patricia H. (Fred) Fergerson of North Syracuse; two grandchildren, Bill and Vicky Fergerson of North Syracuse; four sisters and two brothers, Rosemary Eiholzer of Penfield, Ruth A. "Eligia" Eiholzer of Lenoir, NC, Lora M. Eiholzer of Baldwinsville, John E. (Jackie) Eiholzer of Covina, CA, Carolyn L. Vassie of Bradenton, FL, and Paul V. (Sue) Eiholzer of Jamesville; an aunt, Marguerite Collins of Iowa; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews. Services will be 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, September 4, at Fergerson Funeral Home and 9 a.m. at St. James Church, with burial following in North Syracuse Cemetery.
