Of Buffalo, formerly of Middleport, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2001 at Millard Fillmore-Gates Circle. She is survived by a sister Margaret Mary Hammond of Medina and a brother Regis (Jean) Hammond of Maryland; also a sister-in-law Jean Hammond of Dunkirk; several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Calling hours will be 2-4 & 7-9 PM with a vigil service held at 7:30 PM on Wednesday at the BATES WALLACE & HEATH FUNERAL HOME, 38 State St., Middleport. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 AM at St. Stephens Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Joseph Badding. Burial will be in St. Stephens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
