COTTONDALE Syble Pauline Morris, age 73, of Cottondale, died April 9, 2008, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Dolphus M. Eddleman.Survivors include her daughter, Sheila M. Deerman of Tuscaloosa; son, Gary S. Morris of Tuscaloosa; sister, Flora Jane Caudle of Tullahoma, Tenn.; brother, Rev. Oscar David Eddleman of Gardendale; and grandchildren, Heather D. Deerman, David A. Morris, and Jason A. Morris.She was born and raised in Cullman, Ala. She was employed at the University of Alabama for 25 years, and retired in 1994. She was a life-long member of Alberta Baptist Church. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.Pallbearers will be David Morris, Jason Morris, Danny Morris, Ken Morris, Claude Flowers, and Tom Peters.Honorary pallbearers are the nurses and staff at Park Manor Station One, the nurses and staff of DCH Regional Medical Center Fourth Floor, the doctors and staff of Davita, Financial accounting employees, Tuscaloosa County Sheriff's Department employees, and the University of Alabama - Undergraduate Admissions and Housing.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation.
