She attended St. James Catholic Church in Savannah and Asbury United Methodist Church in Columbus. She was a Junior at Armstrong Atlantic State University. Survivors include her husband, Greg Adams of Savannah; mother and step-father, Marie C. and Byron G. Dixon of Gray; sister and brother-in-law, Dawn and Greg Dixon of Bloomingdale; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth A. Cook of Columbus; her father, Robert N. Gedzun; step-brothers, William Matthew Dixon of Pocohontas, Illinois and Byron Scott Dixon of Milledgeville; an aunt, Ruth A. Cook of Columbus; an uncle and aunt, Walter J. and Wanda C. Cook of Columbus; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at the funeral home. Funeral Services: 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 7, 2004 at Ashbury United Methodist Church in Columbus, GA. She will lie in state at the Church from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment will be held at Park Hill cemetery in Columbus, GA.
