Mrs. Susie Margaret Shields Wayne Collins, 88, passed away January 3, 2015, at Baptist Health in Louisville.She was born the daughter of the late George and Mollie Smitha Shields in Shelby County.She was a nurse and worked at several hospitals over her career. She attended the Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Mt. Eden.Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Edward Wayne, and her second husband, Samuel Collins; daughter Toni Coslow; son George Edward Wayne; five sisters and three brothers also preceded her in death.She is survived by her son, Larry Wayne, Sr. (Doris) of Taylorsville, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.Visitation for Mrs. Susie Collins was January 6 and 7, 2015, at Greenwell -Houghlin Funeral Home with Brother Vernon Jewell officiating. Interment was in Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville. Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
