Susan Johnson KINGSTON-Susan Johnson, 72 of Stephan Street, Kingston died Sunday, June 30, 2013 at her home. Born May 2, 1941 in Kingston, N.Y. she was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Schick) Parmelee. Susan was the owner of Tax Savers in Kingston, N.Y. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, gardening, camping and playing pinochle. She is survived by her daughters Monique S. Johnson and Michele T. Childs and her husband Robert of Kingston; her sister Penelope Strebler of Huntersville, North Carolina; Priscilla Robbins of Melbourne, Florida; and brother William Parmelee of Kissimmee, Florida. Her grandchildren Travis Ashdown, Zachary Childs, Sean Ashdown, Lauren Ashdown, Taylor Childs, and Breanna Childs; great-grandchildren Dante Johnson and Cameron Hoffler and many nieces and nephews also survive. Her husband Ralph Johnson died in Jan. of 2011, a grandson Matthew Johnson and great-granddaughter Emma Childs died previously. Cremation and memorial arrangements are under the guidance of Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home Inc., 27 Smith Avenue, Kingston www.jvleahyfh.com Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. Service will be held at 6:45 p.m. Bernard C.
