JOHNSON Susan Johnson, age 54, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at St. Vincent's Medical Center, Bridgeport. She was born in Florence, S.C., August 5, 1954 to Ernest King and Nellie Johnson. An area resident for more than 40 years, she had been employed with A.B.C.D. as a kitchen aide. In addition to her parents, left to cherish her memories are her beloved son, Dominic Johnson; sisters, Catherine Whitaker (Paul) and Sylvia Johnson Vas; godson, Marque Harris; goddaughter, Anna Johnson; and a host of other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, October 20, 2008 at the funeral home with Rev. Queen Curran Brooks officiating. Interment immediately following service in Park Cemetery, 620 Lindley St., Bridgeport. Friends may greet the family from 10 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home. Arrangements entrusted to George J. Peterson Funeral Home, 1041 Noble Ave., Bridgeport.
