UntitledSUSAN JANE GOODREAU1949-2009Susan Jane Goodreau, 59, of Geneva, AL passed away April 24, 2009 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, AL. She was in the great company of family and friends.Suzi was born to the late Lt. Robert Goodreau, USN Ret. and Virginia Green Goodreau, October 4, 1949 in Jacksonville, FL. She moved from Key West, FL to Pensacola, FL in 1984. Suzi dabbled in many careers such as working within the Whibbs and Sansing automotive industries as well as antique sales and collectable in the Pensacola/Milton area. Among her most rewarding careers was her work as a contracted FEMA inspector along the Central Gulf Coast.She was an active member of Holy Cross Episcopal Church and the Order of the Daughters of the King. Her sense of humor and adventurous taste for life produced instant friendships. Those lucky enough to share their l ives with her knew they were now close to her heart. Suzi's life continues through her daughter, Kimberley Vallet Wright and husband, Tim Wright; son, Keith David Hensel, and partner Nic Reagan; former husband Bill Lewis; sister, Ellen (Lewis) Richardson; brother, Robert (Cookie) Goodreau; grandchildren, Garrett Sizemore and Holly (Nathan) Pierce; nieces, Chrissy (Chad) Bowles, Cassie (Robert) Young, Celina Goodreau, and Ashley Atwell; great-nephews, Ben Nicholson, William Bowles, and Adrien Sanchez; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Pierce and Sheridan Pierce; cousin, Nelson (Donna) Goodreau; and the many friends made over the years.In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; Donor Services; P.O. Box 4072; Pittsfield, MA 01202.
