JACKSON, SUE CAROL PRATHER, 66, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2011. She was a member of Buckner Christian Church and a retired postmaster at the Masonic Home. Preceding her in death were her parents, Ethel and Charles L. Prather Sr.; sister, Lottie Mae Ritchie; and brother, Ed Prather. Survivors include her husband, Michael Jackson; daughter, Ida Michelle Jackson-Hall (Carl); stepsons, Michael Jackson (Angie) and Adam Jackson (Gerri); brothers, Charles Prather Jr., Ray Prather (Treva), Pete Prather (Mary Ann), Turk Prather (Janet), Sam Prather (Donna) and George Ritchie; sisters, Doris Abell, Margaret Potts (Gary), Theresa Lackmann (Bob) and Linda Clark (David); grandchildren, Shelbie, Kyle, Luke, Bode and Charlotte Ann Jackson. A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home with burial to follow in Valley of Rest Cemetery. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. on Thursday.
