WALKER, Stuart (Stu) ErnestBorn January 16, 1925Passed away peacefully at his home at the Redwoods with his family at his side on June 13, 2014 at the age of 89. Predeceased in 1995 by the love of his life, his loving wife Peggy Walker (née Reith) and by his loving daughter Cheryl (Chris Taylor). He is survived by Cheryl's son Michael Taylor of Ottawa. He is also survived by his son Robert (Bob) Walker and Robert's wife Cindy of Burritt's Rapids. Stu was the loving partner and friend of Jackie Henderson (née Monette) for the past 19 years. Stuart was a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force (1943 to 1946). He graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 1950. Stuart was a proud employee of IBM for 28 years before retiring. Stuart is also survived by his sister Marguerite McCrea (née Walker), Marguerite's daughter Mary Beck (née McCrea) and Mary's children Dana and Curtis, his uncle Jack Wheeler and Jack's son Robert Wheeler, all of Manitoba, and his sister Georgina Stewart of Sarnia, Ont. Visitation will be held at The Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 12 noon until time of the Service at 2:00 p.m. Burial and Reception to follow.
