HAYES, Stephen Terence (Terry) - Suddenly, on Friday, October 18, 2013 at the age of 66 at the Toronto East General Hospital. Survived by his loving wife Susan Hayes (née Tigert) and his two sons Kevin and Trevor, and by mother Madeline, sisters Carole and Marilyn, and brothers John and David. Predeceased by his beloved dad Jack and Uncle Fred MACDougal. Exemplary husband and doting father, former employee of National Trust, retired Canada Postie, occasional and sometimes successful fisherman, and tremendous golfer. He was a gentle soul with a quiet, wicked sense of humour; he fully retired this spring and is deeply missed already by family. Friends may call at the Trull Funeral Home at 1111 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4J 3X6, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013. Terry will be interred at a later time in the Village of Port Albert near the home of his much loved mother-in-law Aileen, where he enjoyed golfing and fishing. Donations in his memory can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of choice.
