Stephen Michael Hendricks, 58, of 4403 Old Buncombe Rd., passed away Monday, August 24, 2009, at Duke University Hospital North in Durham, N.C.Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Rev. J.D. and Blanche Cooper Hendricks. Mr. Hendricks was a retired electrician, member of The Woodman of the World and a member of Harmony Fellowship Church in Greer.He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Elaine Burrell Hendricks of the home; two sons: Mike Hendricks and wife, Dale, of Williamston and Josh Cannon and wife, Kayla, of Tigerville; two sisters: Sandra Clark and husband, Cliff, of Easley and Sharone Trotter and husband, Jake, of Greenville; brother: Cliff Hendricks and wife, Teri, of Travelers Rest; and two grandsons: Tyler and Ryan Hendricks.The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday afternoon at The Howze Mortuary Chapel.
