AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Stephen H. Johnson passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2006 at Select Specialty Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Christ Episcopal Church with the Reverend Theodore O. Atwood, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Doris Lever Johnson; his son, Stephen H. Johnson, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia; two daughters, Jan Johnson Swearingen of Augusta, Georgia and Debra Johnson Grimsley of Atlanta, Georgia; one brother, Irwin Carl Johnson of Portsmouth, Virginia; two sisters, Juanita Clark of Atlanta, Georgia and Evelyn Sellers of Jacksonville, Florida and five grandchildren, Amie Swearingen, Julie Swearingen, David N. Grimsley, Jr., Scott W. Grimsley, and Katherine D. Grimsley. Pallbearers will be William G. Harris, Jr., Ronald Easler, Calvin Mears, Michael Johnson, Carl Johnson, Jr., and Bubba Johnson.
