HAYER Mrs. Stella A. Hayer, age 80, of King s Highway, Milford, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003, at Milford Hospital. Daughter of the late Guiseppe and Maria Antonia Famia Blasi, she was born in North Adams, Mass., on March 31, 1922. Mrs. Hayer was a resident of Milford for the past 45 years. She was a devoted and loving mother, nana and a friend. Mrs. Hayer is survived by two daughters, Laureane Duda and her husband, Bernard, and Kimberly Hayer-Rivera and her husband, Dennis, both of Milford; three grandchildren, Jonathan Noyes, Victoria and Cooper Rivera, all of Milford; two sisters, Rose Mellin and Lena Grillone, both of Williamstown, Mass.; two brothers, Dominic and Joseph Blasi, both of North Adams, Mass., and several nieces and nephews. A gathering of friends will be on Saturday, March 22, 2003, from 12 to 1 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 1 p.m. in the Cody White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street on the Green, Milford. Committal will be private.
