SISTER ALICE C. ANDERSON, SSND Sr. Alice C. Anderson, SSND, age 93, of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, 345 Belden Hill Road, Wilton, (off Wolf Pitt Road) died on Sunday, October 26, 2008, at Lourdes Health Care Center. Born in Boston, Mass., Sister received her M.A. from Boston College and taught in Elementary, Junior High and High School in San Agustin, Puerto d' Tierra, P.R., St. Mary's Annapolis, Md., Mission High School and Our Lay of Perpetual Help in Roxbury, Mass, prior to retiring to Wilton in 2001. Survivors include her grand-niece, Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Anderson of Watertown, Mass.; a grand-nephew, Scott Anderson of Milton, Mass.; and a niece-in-law, Mrs. Margaret Anderson of Watertown, Mass. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 10 a.m. in the SSND Villa Chapel with a Mass of Christian Burial. Relatives and friends are invited. The Bracken-Donovan-Spodnick, Bridgeport, is directing. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bethel. Memorials Contributions to SSND Mission Advancement Fund, Wilton, CT 06897, will be appreciated. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Christian wake service will be held on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
