BROWN Sophia A. Brown, age 97, of Waterbury, a homemaker, died on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at St. Mary's Hospital. Born in Staten Island, N.Y. on September 18, 1908, she was a daughter of the late John and Antonia Jakuboski Smigowski. Mrs. Brown was very devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil Brown; a daughter, Elaine Quevas; and a son, Eugene Brown. Survivors include a son, Thomas Brown and his wife, Jean, of Vermont; and a daughter, Julia Kuehn and her husband, Leslie, of Trumbull; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
