Sister Mary Clarice Millet - SAVANNAH - Sister Mary Clarice Millet, R.S.M., 87, died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at The Sisters of Mercy Convent in Savannah. Sr. Clarice was born February 6, 1924 in Dallas, TX. Daughter of the late John Joseph Millet born in Switzerland and Adele Louvard born in New York City, NY. Sr. M. Clarice attended elementary School in Dallas, TX, and high school in Mobile, AL. In 1970, she received her LPN license from Savannah Vo Tech. Sr. M. Clarice's ministry included her work in health care from Mobile, AL, to her work at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah. In her later years, Sister Clarice enjoyed her role as a visitor to the sick and as a volunteer in the Medical Records department and faithfully served that department for many years. In addition to her work for others, Sr. M. Clarice had a great love for animals of any kind (but especially dogs) and the movies. She spent many of her early years watching movies of all types at the cinema while living in Dallas, TX. Sr. Clarice is survived by the members of her Sisters of Mercy community, her cousin in Switzerland, friends and the caregivers at Mercy Convent. The Rosary and wake will be at the Saint Frances Catholic Church on Thursday, December 22. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2011 at Saint Frances Cabrini.
