Sister Dorothy Peterson, SCN, 83, of Louisville, died Tuesday at Nazareth Home. Sister's missions and years in Louisville included service at St. Joseph Infirmary (1942-59), SS. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital (1959-67), US Hospitals of SCNs (1967-69), Visiting Nurse Association (1969-71) and Nazareth Home (1993-95, 1997-2003). Survivors include her sisters, Catherine Loehle, Ann Camper and Barbara Peterson, SCN, of Louisville; a brother, David Peterson of New York; many nieces and nephews; and her Sisters in the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth. Her funeral Mass will be held at 10:45 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent Church in Nazareth, KY, with burial in Nazareth Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday at Nazareth Home in Louisville and after 5 p.m. Thursday at St. Vincent Church in Nazareth. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Nazareth. Funeral arrangements by Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home on Bards-town Rd. in Louisville.
