SINGLETON Louise Gouge Harris Singleton, age 68, a resident of Jacksonville, Florida passed away Saturday, September 27, 2003 at Orange Park Medical Center in Orange Park, Florida following a illness. Mrs. Singleton was preceded in death by her father, Robert Elmer Gouge. Mrs. Singleton was born August 17, 1935 in Morgan County, Tennessee. She lived in Dayton, Ohio for 11 years before moving to Florida in 1970. She was retired nursing assistant and a member of the Church of God. Survivors:, mother, Dora Noe Gouge of Oliver Springs, daughter, Sharon Gail Archer of Jacksonville, sons, Randy Harris and wife Blaine of Tampa, FL, Douglas Harris of Jacksonville. Tony Harris of Jacksonville, grandchildren, 4 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Joe Robert Gouge and wife Brenda of Oak Ridge, Bert E. Gouge and wife Patsy of Wartburg, TN; sister, Violet Marie Nelson and husband James of Harriman. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 1, 2003 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Sharp Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Noe officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday, between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Sharp Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
