SEIDLER-HAMILTON (NEE BERTRAND)_Simone passed away Thursday, November 9, 2006, at the Santa Maria Senior Citizens Centre in Regina, SK, at the age of 84 years. Simone is survived by her loving family, son Wilf (Gloria) Hamilton, grandchildren Craig (Lisa), great-grandchildren Conor, Blaine (Jackie), Neil, Scott, son Glen Hamilton, son Shawn (Diane) Hamilton, grandchildren Shavawn, Dara, Dax, Jared, daughter Rhonda (Troy Stimpson) Ginther, grandchildren Kohl, Kaylan, and Jared, sisters Yolande (Leo), Gregga, Pauline (Walter) McNeil, Florence Ell, brothers Hubert Bertrand, Henri (Joan) Bertrand, Adam (Shirley) Bertrand, numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. Simone was predeceased by her first husband Ted Hamilton, and her second husband Ken Seidler, daughter Brenda Hamilton, brothers Maurice, Armand, and sisters Fernande, and Florette. Simone was born on May 29, 1922 to Eugene and Eva Bertrand in Montreal, Quebec. The Bertrand family moved to the Fir Mountain area in 1924. Simone and her sister Yolande move to Regina where she met her first husband Ted Hamilton. Ted and Simone were blessed with five children; but sadly in 1969 Ted passed away. Simone and the remaining four children moved to Regina where she met future husband Ken Seidler. Ken and Simone lived happily in Regina until Ken's passing in 1996. Simone was a devoted wife and mother the majority of her life. She returned to employment in 1976 at the Army & Navy Department Store until her retirement. Simone spent her retirement actively volunteering and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends and family. The Celebration of Simone's Life will be held on Monday, November 13, 2006, at 12:00 PM at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2049 Scarth St., Regina, SK, with Rev. E. Morrissey celebrant. Interment will take place at Riverside Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff at Santa Maria Senior Citizens Centre for caring for Simone in her final years. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for the Santa Maria Senior Citizens Centre, 4215 Regina Ave., Regina, SK, S4S 0J5. Arrangements have been entrusted to LEE FUNERAL HOME 757-8645
